Have to wait till July 9 - 12th for the show. I hope for some new reels from Shimano also ???

The blue reel is a special "pikereel" made by ABU for a Tacklestore in Sweden. And the guy holding it is the owner and also a former vc in casting!

..and the blue reel is a modified version of Amb 5601JB (Jerk Bait). 5601JB is a very strong reel with stainless steel pinion gear, bronze bushings instead of ball bearings..very popular in Sweden and Europe..

I would like to see a Tranx version of the TN14A with a similar size/weight profile. Maybe a 300 sized Tranx or something like that.

How about a Revo TORO 70? This would be able to compete against the Tranx. If the Toro 60 weighs in at 11 ounces, the 70 would weigh what, about 13-14? Significantly lighter than the TRANX. Now throw in the three gear ratios of 4.6 to 1,5.4,and a 6.4,and WOW! Question is can a low profile reel that big be built??
