Location: indiana | i have a 75 mercury that does not seem to get water up to powerhead. it pees water fine but i keep getting an alarm if idled to long. if alarm goes off i get it up on plane and within seconds it will stop. is this something i can figure out myself or not. i have had two "mechanics" look at it and they can find nothing wrong. impellar has also been changed. wondering if there could be blockage somehow. |

| Does it have the correct thermostat(s) in place for that specific motor? Or maybe something in one of the springs of the thermostat(s), like a small pebble to prevent them from opening and closing correctly? |
