I am new to the lure making hobby.
What are the steps for painting/ sealing etc. lures. I am using Mahogany and making Muskie Baits.
Trolling, Jerks and cranks. Can acrylic paints be used?
Any info will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jim

Location: Pigeon Forge TN.
I use all solvent based lacquer and auto clear coat.
Acrylics can be used but stay with the same type of acrylic. Such as acrylic lacquer or acrylic enamel. Vinyl paints can also be used.
But vinyl MUST be dry before putting on clear.
