I was informed someone here was having an issue with a ProMite charger, some blinking lights and their Optima. I can't find the thread so I'll address your concern here and if you have any additional questions feel free to contact me.

The ProMite series is not recommended for use with the Optima AGM's. They are to be used with up to group 27 flooded batteries. AGM batteries require a higher output of 10 amps to recharge a completely drain set. The flashing lights were just telling you that the charge cycle timed out before the battery was fully charged. You would need to upgrade to the ProSport that contains the AGM charging profiles for these types of batteries. The ProTournament works great too. That's what I've been using on my last few sets of Optima 31's.

Thanks
