| i haven't used one, but the 300EJ is very fast with a 6.9:1 ratio and 32" per crank. a Shimano rep told me this reel would be preferred by muskie fishermen, but i'm not so sure about that?
i find the standard 300 (6.2:1 and 28"/crank) to be plenty quick already...though i'd definitely be interested in trying out one of the EJ power handles on a standard 300E. |

| I have one. Picked it up in October of last year. Its a dynamite little reel. I used it for blades up to 8's, glide batis, dive and rise jerks and top water and it worked like a champ. I love it. I pitched some DCG's with it as an experiment and it can handle them but with other rods with Trinidad's and Calcutta's on them I have no reason to and its not an optimal bait for big blades. |

| exact same as E series, except 6.9 vs 6.2 gearing, and has the power handle.
Go for it |

Location: Latitude 41.3016 Longitude 88.6160 | A 6.9:1 gears will not pull in baits that have a high resistist, someone said they use them on blades up to 8 ??? This gear ratio will make a good top water reel for taking up slack line. |

| i bought a curado 300e and its not big enough to pull in big lures with resisance, so i bought a revo 61 also for 150 cant beat that deal now i got 2 musky setups for under 550 not bad
i do like the curado, but the revos alot more reel power size wise |
