| I own a 2005 Evinrude E-Tec. I purchased the 7 year extended warranty when I bought the motor new. Does anybody know if there's anyway I could renew, or extend the warranty past it's expiration date in 2012?

| Is your extended warranty through FPC? If so, I would think you could call them up directly and find out. My warranty (extended through FPC) expires in 2014 for my E-Tec 225 HO so I haven't checked but it's a good question.... Let me know what you find out. |

| Yes it is through FPC. I contacted them before my original post. Their response was... "Unfortunately, we do not currently have a renewal program available for Direct Injection engines." |

| what is fpc? if my motor ran out of warranty in december do you think i could still buy an extended warranty?
