Just wondering if anyone has been able to test these rods out. I saw one the other day and they seem pretty nice for the price.

They are basically the same rod as the Premier series, but they are made cheaper in Mexico.

They are basically split-grip premiers, but the grip balances them better and there's a little more space from butt to seat. I have a couple of them and they are pretty sick rods for the money!!! I've been talking to St. Croix about a couple more models. It will be an insane line of rods!

I like the premiers better than the mojo. I also want my money going to the guys in their wisconsin plant. I compared the legend to the mojo and the mojo felt significantly heavier. To me the legend is worth the extra price!

True, the Mojos are heavier than the Legends - Better graphite, bigger price tag. You get what you pay for! LT 'til I die!
