Mille lacs in 20mph winds? Or tonka? mille lacs like stuff, nasty prop come out of water stuff.

Location: Des Moines IA | I've had my 1700's prop clean out of the water a few times as well. That hull takes a beatin' and keeps on runnin'.

Posts: 1224 Location: Okoboji | Yeah I was in smiths bay in west boji during the easter seals walleye tourney this spring and I went across some stuff I had no buisness in. Shaley can attest to how bad that lake can get. It isn't a 20 footer but she can handle some stuff..I wanna know what a 1990 Tuffy with a big etec can go through? Sworral, any chance of the X176 being at Chicago?

Posts: 32892 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | The new X170 T and the new Osprey 21' model will be there, the X176 is probably looking like a Milwaukee show addition.

Is it too early for dimensions on the 176? Curious about beam and perhaps a rough idea of what it will be capable of for rough water?

Posts: 32892 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Dimensions are not in stone yet, but boat will be a 17 1/2 foot class, rate at 150, and run the same waters the X190 will. This boat will be the X190's little sister.

Location: MN | Wow, I would imagine a 17.5ft boat which is lighter than the X-190 with a 150 will fly! Do they have any idea on pricing yet? Gussing a little early for this question... Edited by Mak51 12/1/2010 5:39 PM

Posts: 1536 Location: God's Country......USA..... Western Wisconsin | Ranger has a 1760 Angler in it's lineup. The "Angler Series" was absorbed into the Fisherman lineup for 2011. The boat is 17' 6" long with a 94" beam rated to 150 HP. Nice looking boat, 4 seats, front and rear storage, live well and bait well, center rod locker. (up to 7'6" rods)The largest drawback to any of the less than 19' to 20' boats is length of rod storage. Hard to put 8 and 9 footers in a 17' to 18' boat rod locker.
