I am looking at going up to Nipi ssiing this season. Has anyone had much success there? Is there a best time of year for the most active fish?

Thanks

I believe you are trying to type Nip is sing (I too have had problems with some words here). If so, it is a great August lake...guide recommended. Check out Danny Colomby via Google (can't put his website name up because the board program misspells it too!...sworrall???).

Do you mean Lake Nipi ssiing in Ontario , Canada, I fished there a many of years I go to Sandyhaven Camp you can look it up on the web, really good musky fishing right out in front of camp, really good smallmouth fishing also, there has been a many 50" + musky caught right around the islands in front of sandyhaven camp. little pricey

I fish the Upper French River and part of Nipi ssing twice a year for Musky. If your going to the Columbus show we could talk. The place I stay is only 10 miles from the mouth of the lake

I fish the West Arm area about once a year. It's not a numbers lake, but there are some pigs in there.

Hey guys,

If you wanna remember how to spell NIpeeING, think of it like "no peeing in the lake", only use an 'i' instead of the 'o'. (LOL) I know it sounds crude but it gets the job done.

best fishes,

CD

OK, your site did it again. Put it this way: only one P and 2 Ss.

Let's see if that sticks....

Sandy Haven gives you a remote fishing camp feel on an island in the middle of Lake Nipeeing near the mouth of the Upper French River with Dawn and Todd hosting. They have improved the camp a lot over the last couple of years and are the nicest people. Great walleye fishing too.
