Location: SE, WI. | I can't find my bucktail book by bucher...But Double up line and put through swivel,wrap looped end around doubled line 6 times, then put loop through the hole above swivel, then put swivel through loop, then draw slowly both ends. Easier showed than explained.
Its my favorite for braids and creates a knot for- ever!  |

| It was knot on his site, looked thoroughly, even did a Google, but the diagrams that came up were of other knots. Someone must have it, and they'll list it for you. |

| How does this knot compare to the polomar? Seems that the polomar knot is hard to beat from simplicity of tying and break strength. |

| I use this knot with 30# mono and have always had positive results. I can't ever remember knot slip or breakage at the tags. |

Location: Colgate, WI | This looks like a super polomar knot. The only real difference I see on paper (without tying one) is the number of loops you make with the tag end before going through the first loop and passing the swivel through.
That probably isn't a good explanation of what I see in the post above, but I tried.

Location: Elk River, Minnesota | One nice thing about using that knot is if you leave a long enough tag end on it, you can use (I believe it is called) a surgeon's loop up a little ways to have two sections of line for about 5 inches or so before your swivel/leader. I found this to be nice since that little knot tells me when to stop reeling for figure 8 maneuvers, and if for some reason one of the two lines were to break, there is a back-up to keep the lure and potential fish...
