Posts: 129 Location: Glenmoore PA | Have never been there before. Figured I would look into booking a guide for several days for summer 2011. Not sure what part of the lake to go to either. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Posts: 3 | Esoxmtk, If you are interested in Muskie and walleye...take a guy by the name of Mark at the white birch lodge in Sioux Narrows! He is really good and knows all of the spots. Even the legend Bob Mehsikomer's favorite spots. You will fish red rock/white fish bay/yellow girl let me know how you do....good luck.

Posts: 999 | Northwest Angle/ Bill Sandy, hands down the best guide on all of LOTW, Bill just put his 500th fish over 50" in his boat this year.

500th? Is that a typo? Brian

Oh, I get it. 500th fish over 50 in his lifetime, not one year. Brian

Posts: 462 Location: Antioch, IL | +1 on Bill Sandy. The guy is a fishing machine! The camp is great, nice cabins, good docks (watch out for Coco, she will eat anything you leave out in the boat. Lost 2lbs of jerky one trip. The poor dog didn't feel so well that day ![]()

Posts: 1906 Location: Oconto Falls, WI | Ed Spoerl does very well on LOTW as well. Not sure what his plan is for next year but if he is guiding there I would definitely look him up. Ask any of the Vets that fished with him in the Operation Musky outings and they will tell you he is top notch.

Posts: 101 Location: Liberty, IN (OKI Tri-State) | Some great names... heck some legendary ones. Know of them and would fish with any listed so far... with JOY! Ciscoe is right though about Ed. I know Mr. Spoerl personally and would strongly second Travis' recommendation. Great guy with a curiosity and thirst for the Where, Whens & Whys of what makes Musky in general and more specifically that "World Class" water tick.... and has spent the time up there to put it together. Check him out if he is available.... he is one of the good ones for sure and you would have to look long and hard to find a better suited or more knowledgeable companion for your adventure.
