Looking for some help finding a place to stay in south central Wisconsin for a few days in August. Not sure where to post this or even if such posting is allowed - moderators please be gentle.

Here's the deal - I have kids and grandkids in Texas and in Green Bay (I'm in Milwaukee). Sadly, only get to see the Texans maybe once a year when we can get down there. This year they are coming up to Wisconsin in August and we'd like to find a place to stay for maybe 3 nights on one of Wisconsin's beautiful lakes. Not looking for muskie waters, just a place where the kids can swim and maybe try to catch a few bluegills. (6 grandkids ages 1 to 6)

Need beds for 7 adults and 4 kids (2 will be in port-a-cribs)
The nights of August 10, 11 and 12. (Or alternatively the nights of August 13, 14 and 15.)

This may be a long-shot, but there are a lot of good guys here who are very helpful. If you have a place or know of someone with a place or know of a good resort or cabins for rent please let me know. I truly appreciate it.

You might want to look into Castle Rock Hideaway. http://www.castlerockhideaway.com/

Here is another link to look thru. When you click the link, there is a PDF at the bottom of the page for easier viewing.

Try www.vrbo.com or do a Google search for "Central Wisconsin vacation rentals" and you should be able to find numerous options. Try craigslist as well.
