This past fall has been a strange one on the Bay of Green Bay to say the least! September and early October saw excellent fishing with a lot of large fish, but once early November rolled around, the fishing got very tough. That tough fishing ended just last week! and things have really turned around. The last two trips out my customers boated six fish, including this giant caught by Steve Bergin and his son Ethan!

After a long cold morning, with icicles hanging from the side of the boat, the fishing got hot! We boated three fish in less than an hour and lost a fourth. The third fish to hit the net was this giant! 55inches with a 27inch girth! I've seen some big fish out on the bay, but nothing like this one! it was massive, the jaws were so big i easliy could have fit my head inside!

This is by far the biggest fish I've had in my boat, and a great sign that the fish on the Bay are reaching true giant sizes!

Congrats again to Steve and Ethan, they had a great day, and Steve did a heck of a job fighting that monster! She only had one treble in the tip of her snout and she fought hard, he kept perfect pressure on it the whole time. This was only Steve's second musky ever! The first one came about 40 minutes earlier! He's gonna be sending in an order to Lax real soon!

Congrats on a super fish! I was out there with Dennis Radloff and it was COLD. Those fish seemed to have all come around moonrise. Pretty neat how that works out.

Thanks for sharing. Excellent job....It is very tough on the Bay this year....very limited bite windows and we were in the wrong place when it happened.
