Posts: 250 Location: Pittsburgh, PA | Looking for a combo that I can throw almost everything with. Not too much dough to have a bunch of specific rod and reel combos need a broad one thats ok for everything. Got about 200$ could maybe spring for a little more for a good deal.

Location: Northern Wisconsin | I don't have anything to sell that would fit your request, but for a reel I would recommend the pflueger trion 66. You can find one for 80-90 new and they are solid reels, put an anu power handle on it and it will throw double 10's just fine. Pair it with one of the Tackle Industries or Okuma rods and you should have a new combo that can handle anything for around 200.

| Shoot me an email. I have a custom Thorne 8-6 Hvy action rod only a year old with a Cardiff 400 that I'm looking to move. It's in your price range as well. Ejonbox (at) gmail (dot) com Thanks. Erik | |||

Posts: 34 | Here's my attempt at posting a pic. The handle is syncork (which I love and have on a few other rods). Edited by box 10/21/2010 1:01 PM Attachments ---------------- thornrodandreel.jpg (152KB - 95 downloads) thornrod.jpg (168KB - 116 downloads)

Posts: 7 | Hulbert's rods are 130-140 guest. If you want to wait until show season you can probably pick one up for even cheaper. He usually has a show deal going on. I believe he has a new one coming out that you can throw smaller bucktails all the way to pounders.
