Has anyone converted drum brakes to disk brakes on their trailer.
Just wondering if it's worth it.

Hiya,

The conversion is very easy to do. If you do a bit of checking on ebay or championtrailer.com you can get the kit minus the new hitch coupler. The kit will have everything you need including the mounting bolts, mounts for the calipers, rotors and I believe bearings as well.

The only thing you will have to add (and hopefully not have to replace the entire coupler) is a reverse lock-out solenoid so you can use reverse.

If you are handy with a wrench, the conversion should not be much of an issue.

Good luck and enjoy the job!!
