O.K. Kind of a plug ( no pun intended) for my friend. This is the new "Supernatural" "Lip Lock".

I just finished painting this one for myself and had it in the water for the first time. The bait has amazing action !! This style has already put a bunch of nice fish in Duff's boat, so it is only a matter of time for me.

It is 15" and has three depth settings. The cool thing about Duff's baits (AKA Capt. Bigfish) is the construction. The lip is mounted externally. If you need to change the lip due to wear, or change the style- you just unscrew it. The lip is mounted to a solid aluminum rail that internally runs the entire length of the bait. All of the hook hangers are welded to this "rail" . This bait is tougher than through wire! The other cool thing is the way that you change the depth setting. You undo the splitring and drop the stainless pin out the bottom of the lip. Then you move the pin to another setting, push it up and reinstall the splitring! Really cool! The pin actually swivels,so the bait has a killer "hunting" action to it.

Anyway- enjoy the pics. Duff shares my booth at the Tri Esox show and also can be contacted via his website- Supernaturalbigbaits.com

Awesome bait Joe. I fished a few days with Duff's brother up here in Bemidji this summer/fall. Just was in an outing with Chris yesterday and also heard about the exciting action in Duff's boat yesterday also, and saw the pics! I've seen a ton of your work and Duff's also. Fantastic job for both you and Duff on all your baits! Now if I could only afford a box full of them!

Brian,
I Don't want to ruin his surprise, but here is a 55.5" Pig caught in Duff's boat this weekend. I think it is the biggest Muskie caught by a Swede??

We are "up North" right now and rumor is -this is the "small" one

David! I know, the paint job is trash

Joe

P.S. Stephen is 6'7" tall

Beautiful paint. Interesting lure, years ago I had a lure used for saltwater fishing that had a bill with a similar concept. You could slide it in or out and then snap a button into place. I haven't seen one in a long time though. The same company made another lure that you could change the angle of the bill to make it dive deep or shallow.

Hey Joe,
What do you call that color, that you painted on your supernatural lip lock. It looks very cool

Natural Whitefish. The color also doubles as a great Sheaphead color as well. I fish a few lakes with Sheapheads in them and that is my go to color.

I will post some SuperNatural fish pics from the trip this past week .When everyone is back in Minnesota tomorow
