LCX 15MT does not give the depth or anything else, should the transducer make a clicking noise when its switched on and out of the water. This one does not and I was wondering if it needs replacing.

Hiya,

Transducer sounds to be the culprit... It should tick.... If it is not, I would suggest trying a new transducer.
