| Thought i'd give the tuffy a once-over before heading to the spring bay outing on wednesday.while checking my bearings i discovered that the sidewall of the driver side trailer tire was severly cracked/split and looked like it could blow out at any time.there is no way it would of lasted the 9 hour trip.a blow out at interstate speeds is not something anyone would like to experience.

| Glad you caught it! I had a tire blow while in the left lane going 80mph. I was passing this woman and it blew right as I was alongside her. I started slowing and she slowed down too, trailer swaying all over the place. It was a hair raising experience for sure. |

Location: Elk River, Minnesota | Going 80 with a tire rated for no more than 65.... Not sure I could agree with this, and the excess heat will definitely lower the life of the tire, and puts everyone around your trailer at risk...

Thanks for the advice guys but I had high quality radial tires that were up to the task. I dont make a habit of maintaining speeds this high, I was merely trying to get around this person then get back in line.
