Location: north central wisconsin | The Consolidated Musky Club Inc.(out of Wisconsin Rapids) will be conducting the first of two scheduled 2010 Musky stockings for this Thursday at 10:00 AM on the Wisconsin River in Wood County. The DNR will be there to dye-mark the 300 fingerlings before they swim off to their new homes. The fish are running in the 10-15" range, a bigger average than most years, which is great! I saw the fish Todd Forcier recieved, from the same batch, and they were as big and healthy as can be.
We will also be stocking 300 Leech Lake strain Muskies into Petenwell flowage at a date to be determined, most likely in November. These will also be dye-marked for identification. I'll keep all posted of said date as it becomes known.
If anyone cares to help with the stocking Thursday, please drop me an email. [email protected]
Thanks in advance!
