| I feel like I am missing some fish because my rubberbands aren't breaking on the hook set. Is a small hook attached in the nostril area of the sucker a better way to go when using the lift-off rigs? |

Location: syracuse indiana | also i have used the other ones with a hook and had made some of my own too .. a little trick i have also learned here is to take a tiny peice of plastic (i use a cut up coffe lid) and cover the small hook after you lip the sucker. this will keep it on if it gets to dig in weeds and stop it from getting off the front hook |

| The other posters are correct---you really have to twist up that rubber band so that it's TIGHT to the sucker's nose. That way when you set---you'll have NO PROBLEM breaking the band. Both rigs work well---they just take some practice---Good Luck---Jobu |
