| I run rail mounts on my Scotty rod holders. They hold fine, but my rails are starting to get loose. I tightend up the set screws and they still slip.
Any ideas on tightening the rails up, |

| He who wants to borrow my credit card, have you tried loktite; used when mounting screws on gun scopes. If the rails are loose at the base where they connect to the boat try a lock nut/washer. I used a thin piece of rubber gasket under the rail bases on my Carolina Skiff + it worked good in combo w/ the locknut/washer system.[:sun:] |

| Jason,
Try the rubber washer Sponge suggested first. If you go to lock-tite make sure you use the "Blue" and not the "Red".
Red Locktight requires heat if you ever want to loosen the screw/bolt again, and we don't need to be gettin the flame wrench out when workin on the Tuffy.....
