| Great demonstration on the use of a Suick on the Video. It took me several years to figure out how to make those lures attractive. (The title "pull bait" is deceptive.)
I'm wondering about the red and white color combination. Does it work with Suicks? Is it worth using on muskie baits in general? |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | I like red and white. It seems the muskies like it fine too, especially on the darker waters I fish. It's a great combo on Moen and the Goon, for example. |

Location: Racine, Wi | My father in law does good on the red and white (kotex) colored baits. I always rip on him for throwing that color (that's about all he throws when I take him out), but he always gets fish on that color. I'm going to attribute that to the guy running the boat.  |

| Yeah the suick video was nice. I used to fish a suick similar to that until I took a guide out and he told me I was working it wrong. So I went to the pull and reel in the slack(have caught some fish that way so I thought he was right). Thanks for putting the video up terrific info. |

I don't particularly care to watch 'fish porn'... I mean, it's nice to see some guy catching a fish, but I'd much rather know what I can do to get better with my tackle.

This would be a great idea for a true master, like the Suick demonstrater. Guys like me who don't know too much and haven't had a chance to fish with a master could learn a lot from an instructional video; and would probably spring for it. A sort of Muskie Techniques 101. |

| Might be able to hear the demonstrator too -- but for the music. Why the music? Just because one can? I've always been able to hear better if I didn't have someone else's music in my ear. Is it just me?

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | That wasn't an instructional piece produced for the website, it was a small portion of the Spring Bay Resort sponsored dockside presentation added to the morning images to indicate what those sessions are about.
Looks like there's enough interest to do some specific pieces, so we'll go ahead and do just that...on the water under actual fishing conditions. But not in Utah....unfortunately. |

The floating suick video was very good.
Didn't intend to offend, I just don't understand why, when a guy who might have something to say is willing to speak, There's the percieved need to add music.
Perhaps most others disagree.

Location: Northern Wisconsin | Does using your reel to work the suick like that result in burned out reels?
I also think it's important to turn the eye on some suick's to get them to run well. I have had some that no matter how I turn and twist the tail I can't get them to run well without turning the eye a few degrees.
Great lure, the possibilities are endless. |

No. Not hard on the reel at all, it's the wrist flick coupled with the reel to make the Suick talk to me. Same thing makes a Weagle speak to 'em.
Never had one yet I couldn't tune. I have LOTS of 'em. |

Location: N.FIB | I was there on the dock watching the demo in person,ALOT more wear on the reel using a crank or bucktail than steve using the suick,no pull with a suick like other baits. |

| I thought the floating suick demo was awsome, it really opened my eyes on the baits! And Steve i would love to see more demos on lots of baits, and how a LEGEND like you likes to work stuff. its good for all of us. Seasoned fisherman,touney fisherman, or the green horn. no matter what some of the guys on here say its much appreciated man. Thank You, and TJ or Sue for running the camera whoever it is thanks for taking the time!!!!!!!!

| Dockside lure demonstrations are a GREAT learning tool. We always do them at the University of Esox schools and the students really like them.
