Posts: 47 | Heading up north with a group of 8-12 guys weekend of October 16th for a musky trip. Looking for a resort that can accomodate all of us in one cabin that is on a good body of water. We have Lac Vieux and Manitowish over the last 2 years. Want to hit somewhere new. Most of the guys are primarily sucker fishing. Definitely looking for a body of water with trophy potential. Any help would be appreciated.

Posts: 47 | Would love to hit Vermillion, but since we are just doing a weekend trip (Wednesday or Thursday to Sunday) would prefer a shorter drive.

Posts: 47 | I will check out Big ST. Never fished there before. As for Hayward area, I have checked it out, but it is pretty difficult to search for resorts with big cabins on the internet. I have googled it in every area, but the results have been pretty dismal. I found a place on Namekagon that works, so there is one option. I was trying to find accomodations on Tomahawk, but have had no luck on the internet. Appreciate the suggestions!

Posts: 3242 Location: Racine, Wi | My inlaws own All Seasons Resort on the Lac Du Flambeau Chain. Not a #s chain, but has some HUGE fish in it. However, there are plenty of nearby lakes you can trailer to that have more fish in them, and that like eating suckers. They have 3 cabins, so your group might have to be split into different cabins, however, they are all right next to, or in very close proximity to each other. Something to think about. Here's their website http://www.allseasonsresortupnorth.com/.

Posts: 47 | Joel, Thanks for the tip. THat chain is actually one I have wanted to fish for a long time. I know there are giants in there. This is Kevin Rand, usually fish tourneys with K. Moore. Have seen you plenty of times. I sent them an inquiry. Hopefully if we go there you can give me some pointers to put me on some fish as we will only be there Thursday through Sunday. Thanks again.
