Location: c.wis | Was wondering if anyone out there on the interweb could possibly point me in the right direcion with this huge chunck of water- Im not looking for your numbers or plotter trails- im looking for what to look for in water depth/ water temps/ suspended/shoals ect................ looking to try gb out with a buddy and dont know where to start- I have some info already just looking for a little more. and this would be for a summer pattern? and fall if you would be willing to share-------- thnx

| There will be 15 or more boats out there, (even on a wednesday)drive around in circles pulling shallow cranks on planers near the other boats in the bay and the first mile of the river or so. Or hire a guide. Anyone on here giving out more details than I just did seems to get ripped/ frowned upon by everyone that does know whats going on;)
Not difficult, the only hard part is picking the right day. They used to bite everyday, now it seems closer to a 1 or 2 days per week that they are actually active.
Good luck, take pics carefully, or risk being able to walk accros the boats like when the holiday inn pic got posted last year.. Could have crossed the river on foot without geting wet that week  |
