| Heading up to Lake Vermilion in early september. Spring Bay is all filled up. Any other recommendations? Going with my dad and looking to also do some northern and walleye fishing (my dad has bad knees, can't stand for very long and likes to catch stuff vs just cast - I'll do some musky fishing as well). East vs West any different for walleyes / northers? Thanks for your ideas.

| You could try Vermilion Dam Lodge. Stayed there a few years ago. It is centrally located so it's easy to fish east or west. Good guides out of there too. Ed Tausk, the owner, is a real stand up guy----and he knows what the fish are doing from day to day. Good luck---Jobu |
