| I just got invited last minute to head up to the Lake of the Woods muskie fishing and staying at Pipestone Point Resort Aug. 14 -19. I tried searching on the website for fishing the North End up by Pipestone Point Resort and the Pipestone Peninsula, not alot of info. How is the muskie fishing up by the North End (Moore Bay, Andrew Bay, Hay and Middle Island) Anyone have any suggestions/spots within 10 miles or so of the lodge or closer worth trying or must have baits for this section?.
Also, this is my first year bringing a fiberglass boat to Canada. I have never fished this area, are most the rocks and shallow humps marked pretty well? I know the North chip covers this area, is it pretty accurate? I know the usual, run a chip and have good map and use common sense and watch your depth, but was just curious on how accurate the chip was and if some of the hazards are marked.
