I either wrap the netting around hte bait and use clothes pins along the bottom to hold it in place. The other method I use is to stretch the netting in an embroidery hoop and then press that down over the lure.

I find clothes pinning the netting over the bait to work best if I am going to have to shoot a couple coats to get the coverage I want. If its just going to be 1 coat then I use the embroidery hoop.

Use 1x2 furring strips and make a frame that will fit your largest lure with a little room to spare and stretch the netting over the frame and staple.
C clamp the frame to you spray booth when you want to use it.

I cut out templates on cardboard and then I tape the netting to it. I then lay the template over the lure and just paint through it, lift off the netting template VERY carefully, and let dry. I mostly paint flat Grunt baits though so laying it over the bait works well for me. I have done it on rounded baits and the above suggestions with clamps works great! Another idea is to buy a cheap hair dryer and put it on the low or medium heat setting and lightly hit the lure with the dryer and you can speed up your painting process so you can remove the netting and go to the next bait.

Embroidery hoops are the best thing I have found to hold the netting. I use the old wooden ones and they are heavy enough to just lay over the bait.

I just lay the bait on it side on a clean surface, lay the netting over it, spray, flip the bait, and repeat.
