So my fishing buddy is scared of Mille Lacs because it is too big and he is afraid of big wave potential. I am also gathering from him that he just wants to pound skis all day, not drag for walters which I would prefer. He wants a more manageable sized like 5000 acres as opposed to 130000.

He mentioned Miltona, as it was highly regarded by a instructor in a class we attended this winter for a few weeks.

Can anyone share any thoughts about Miltona? Decent cheap place to stay?

Is there a good walleye bite up there?
