Lots of good suggestions above. I worked at the State Campgrounds up there two summers ago (Crystal Lake). You can't go wrong with them - good price, quality locations, and almost always sites at most campgrounds. Plum Lake site 11 or 12 is my favorite though! Many of them are on musky waters or within a minute or two of musky waters. Kentuck is another option as well as Forest Pond which is right across the road from Kentuck, a few dollars cheaper and free firewood with showers.
Most of the state campgrounds don't have showers; however, if you're staying at any of them, you can go to one with showers and use the facilities for free. Feel free to PM me with any questions.

Three Lakes has a nice National campsite.

My pick would be the Turtle Flam....love it there
