| Hello guys. I have a question concerning a Poe's Giant Jackpot I have, would you think it would be to much to move the front hook forward 5/8" and add a middle hook to it?
Also would having 2 split rings between the hook and lure so the hooks hang down further help with hook ups?
and one last one, I added heavier screw eyes to it, what kind of epoxy glue would you recommend to glue the screw eyes in place?
Thanks, Bill. |

| Bill,
The mods I have heard most often would be to go to a larger hook on the tail and make sure to T the belly hook, as far as epoxy I use devcon 2 ton epoxy , the slower setting time is stronger. As far as adding 3 hooks total, I run 3 3/0 mustad round bends on my 8 " WTD lures that I make and I make sure I T the belly hooks and I have little problem w/ hookups, that could be something you could try on the jackpot. |

Location: Eagan, MN | I think 2 hooks on a 7" lure is plenty. Most jackpot mods involve bigger hooks, mostly to add weight so the lure rides lower. |

| I took one and moved the front screw eye and added the middle hook. Works just fine. I think I used 4/0 4X VMC's. |
