Subject: jerkbait leaders


Looking to start making the stiff jerk bait leaders. Just wondering what all i need to get and some tips on getting started

I use 174 lb single strand wire looped on both ends. Use one loop to attach to your line (no swivel). I use either a split ring or a stayloc snap on the lure end.

this is the technique I use. It works great. 30 ft of American fishing wire 174 test is $10 including shipping and you can make a lot of leaders from that much wire. I actually use these leaders for all my lures.
