i just recently won a 8 inch polish shad. i was wondering if anyone on here does any good CASTING these baits. kind of reminds me of a trolling bait but i think it would make a decent casting bait. thanks for any responses that may find themselves below.

I bought one when they first came out, at the urging of the owner of the company that makes them. "I'll tell you what, if you buy this lure, and send me a report at the end of the season, I'll send you next years new lure free of charge!"

So I bought it. I casted it. I trolled it, I ripped it, I cranked it down and twitched it. I fished the heck out of it and carefully took notes on the performance of the lure. I sent my report as asked. That was 6 years ago and I am still waiting for next years lure. I forgave myself for being new at muskie fishing, and not realizing that lure salesmen aren't always upstanding honest business people. I forgave myself for not being able to tell the difference between and good lure and a piece of junk. I forgave myself for wasting hours, even days, throwing a lure that fell into the latter category. I learned not to feel duped when I heard all of my friends talk about how they bought the same lure and couldn't even get a fish to look at it, not even a sniff.

I'm not sure I could forgive myself if I let you go out and waste your time fishing with that lure. If I were you I'd sell it for $5, and use that $5 for some gatorades and breakfast bars that you can use while you are fishing with lures that actually catch fish, made by people who actually follow through with the promises they make when they sell you their lures.
