I have a Gander Mountain GS 66 which is basically a pflueger trion 66 and I need some parts.. The level wind will get stuck on one end of the reel because the worm gear is worn out in a spot.
Any one know where I can get parts for this reel? I tried a google search but nothing..
Thanks

I've bought parts for my Bass Pro Shops Pete Maina series reels from Outdoor World Rod and Reel Repair. You can find their phone number in the catalog or on the Bass Pro website. I also have a GS66 which has been a good reel for me also. I read in other posts on this forum that the parts are interchangeable between the Pfleuger Trion 66, Gander GS66 and the Pete Maina series reels. While I have never tried to swap the parts between the reels I have taken the GS66 apart to oil/lube it and it seems to me that internally these are the same as the Pete Maina reels.

I've found that dealing with Outdoor World Rod and Reel Repair has been a pleasant experience. Their prices are reasonable (seemed pretty cheap to me) and the shipped pretty quickly. I think if you told them what you need they will be able to help you.

Would the worm shaft from the left handed model properly work in the right handed model. All I can find are parts for the left handed model @ mikes reel repair. I would assume its the exact same part in both reels but was checking if anyone knew for sure.
