I want to extend the handles on my slingblade and big dawg but does this void the warranty of the rod?

Also i have done it myself on another rod of mine, and i had to drill out the glue or whatever thats in the blank to fit the extension. So I dont want to go hacking at these two rods not knowing whats under the cork. Has anyone done this themselves with these rods?

thanks

Ryan;
My Guess would be it would void warranty. BUT; I weighted my Butt end to balance my sling blade and love it. Comfort, and less fatigue in casting is # 1 in my book.

As long as the mod doesn't cause the break you're fine. Keep in mind if you screw it up there's no going back.
