A couple of weeks ago there was still green cabbage in Birch Narrows. The action I had, limited as it was, mostly occurred there. Good luck.

This morning was a bad hand I guess we drew the Ace of turds, zero fish not even a look. Tonight is a blow out the wind is humping wildly,no fishing tonight. we have a warm cabin and a fridg full of beer I think we are going to make it.
We fished Birch Narrows yesterday morn nothing there the weeds are fading fast but thanks for the tip.

Just got back from 3 day trip. Got cut short. Caught one 52" in Daisy Bay on Fatboylures White MagBucktail Spinnerbait. Caught on the east bank about 3pm. First 2 days were really crappy. Sat things settled never made it out sunday. Word was biggins' moved out to 25 feet deep. But caught mione in 6 feet. Also supposed to be in the weed pockets on brown bladed lures. Caught mine on rock shore with white and silver blades. Go figure!

Congrats of the 52! Looks like your fish didn't get the memo that she was suppose to be in 25ft of water and eating brown blades, but I am sure every other musky in Vermilion did get it and is doing the same .

I am heading up later today. Maybe I will bring the luck up with me and we can both land a few fish tomorrow. I would say we should have a beer or two, but I am staying at the Casino on the east side of the lake. Good luck!!

I forgot to ask...Are you seeing them in shallower water or have they started to slide to the deeper water? Thanks

4:30am did not work this morn we saw one very hungry fish that we raised yesterday but can not get her to go, she blew up three times on the jack pot but can't get hooks to the mouth . I think these fish have very poor aim. WE will hit hard this afternoon into the eve and see what happens.
The depths we have been fishing are 3' to 30' and so far 10' I would say is where most fish have been seen.
