Anyone ever have problems with Bronzeback wearing/fraying easily? After a weekend of hard fishing it appears worn and there are small fibers sticking out. I checked all my rod guides and they are good. I tried to check the line guide on my level winds, but that it rather difficult. The problem has occurred occurred on both of my TE's, both Revo Toro's, and a 7000 HSN...so I don't think it is a reel issue. Bad batch of line? Any input is appreciated.

I noticed on a new spool that I had where there were a few small fibers like you mention coming off the line. It didn't appear to the eye to be an issue to me and I've put it on my reels anyway. After a couple of years on my reels, I have had zero frays from use.

I have used Bronzeback for a few years on 10 or 12 rigs, both 65 and 8o lb. test.

In my experience it's durable and long lasting.

No issues here with the Bronzeback and I have been using it for two years now. I switched over from Powerpro and I am very pleased with the Cortland product.
