Location: Lino Lakes, MN | I am looking for some info on the Avaio rods. Does anyone have the 9' and how do you like it? I have a casting deck that is kind of high and the extra length over the 8'6" would make for a better figure 8. I am looking for to be used with big blades 10-13's, maybee twitching big minnow baits and rubber( I don't think I have the pounders in me).
Wich is the better rod for my use and why?
I will be teaming it with my Saltist 30 HA if that makes a difference.

Location: WI | I've been using the 9` Avaio w/ a Saltist 30HA for those exact situations and it's been great so far. I'd recommend using pounders b/c they're pretty easy to cast w/ this set up as long as you aren't trying to heave them every cast. I don't find that it loads too much on the 8 when I'm burning big blades, yet the tip is plenty soft so I'm not concerned about getting slack line when I've got a fish hooked. |

| I bought both Avaio rods this spring. I have a Trinidad 16 on the 9 footer and a Calcutta TE on the 8'6". The heavy (9') will definitely perform better with double 13s as the med-heavy will give to much on the figure eight. There is really not a disadvantage to the 9 because it does have a pretty soft tip as stated earlier. I've cast baby girls with it even. I nailed a couple figure eight fish my first day with the 9 footer and I won't go under 9 again for a bucktail rod. I really like both sticks, but I would go with the 9 footer if I was you.

Now how do I fit it in a little Toyota Corrolla to get it up to Vermilion????
I suppose I have to take the Suburban up for the first time this year.

| if your back seat folds down it might go, butt end in the trunk, tip by the rearview mirror. works in a vw jetta good luck |
