I love to fish caldron. Water is stained. It is a good numbers lake. I would go with jerkbaits at that time of year. If the weeds are still green start there. If you get cold Fisher's Bar has good chicken wings. Never been on High Falls, I hear of some trophies being caught there over the years, not a high density though.

Bulldawgs and suckers. I like the steeper breaking shorelines near the dam.

Thanks for the info guys ... keep it coming if you have more !! Was checking out the lake map , steep breaks definitely got me thinking !! My buddy is still looking for his first fish so I'm hoping I can make it happen for him!! He's been out with a bunch of A--clowns that keep screwing it up , not that I'm any better but I try to take it serious as I can !! At least a bit more serious than our late buddy , vodka with black pepper along with coffee ( whiskey added ) for breakfast !!

I have a place up that way and rumor has it last weekend a 50"-45lb was caught/released on Caldron! It's been a long time since a fish that size was reported out of there.
