Anyone throw one of these yet? They look interesting with the prop separate from the body. Not a bad price at $17 for the 8 1/2" and $15 for the 6 1/2".

These things really throw the water! There used to be a problem with the wire bending on them but they fixed it and they seem to be built like tanks now! I would recommend them for sure! Awsome prop bait!

They have a sound of their own, I helped field test them and last year they were at the top of my go to bait list. The Whiplash is a super search bait that you can cover a lot of water with fast and it also works great when worked slow and every speed in between.

I saw one last Summer(samples) when I worked at Kurt's Island Sports. Looked really cool and built well. Might have to take one to LOTW this Summer. Where are they available?

There is a list of Dealers on the dreamcatcherlures.com site.
Ross's in Phillips has them and will ship them if you can't find a Dealer in your area.

Black is tough to beat for a surface lure, I've had good luck with the Baby Duck that you have pictured and also the Sunset color. But I don't think that color for this bait is as important as the water that it is moving and the sound thats being made. I like the regular size Whiplash because of the rear hook but the Jr makes as loud of sound.

Sweet bait. Originally designed by Ryan Jinkerson, this lure is being produced in larger numbers now by Dream Catcher and is a great early season topper, and summer burner. Cup the blade in or out for differing speeds and sounds.

The Whiplash and Whiplash Jr. are excellent top water baits. Got my hands on some this year and have only had a chance to test them out. John is right they do have a unique sound. Definitely a go to for me this summer.
