The Illinois Musky Tournament Trail is the new host for the Jake Wolf Memorial Tourney May 15 & 16.

We're registering people Friday night at the Antioch Comfort Inn & Suites at the hotel bar.  Complimentary pizza will be ordered from Anastasia's.   Any time between 6-9:30PM. You'll receive the tourney packet including rules, Jake Wolf commemorative pin, release forms, orange ribbon (to tie on your trolling motor) and motor sticker with boat number.   You'll also need to sign up for the IMTT to fish this or any IMTT run event.  That is 25.00, and with that you receive a 2010 IMTT pin, and a quarterly newsletter with tourney updates and news.  The entry fee is 100.00 per angler.  *those who wish to register late- meaning Saturday morning, please call John Sutton (773-852-5558) on Friday night between 6-9PM so we can bring your packet to the launch.  We'll be at the Turtle from 5:30-6:30AM.  There is a continental breakfast available for those staying at the Comfort Inn & Suites both Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday we'll let out from the Thirsty Turtle, in order of registration.  Tourney hours on Sat. are 7-4PM.  Entry forms must be turned in no later than 4:00PM!  All muskies 30" inches will be counted as 1 point per inch.  This is a new point system for the IMTT this year and is meant to reward anglers who catch the most fish, not necessarily the biggest.  However, we will have a big fish pot to join for 10 bucks per man.  $100.00 will be added to that pot, courtesy of a donation made from the Comfort Inn & Suites of Antioch.  Also, if the winning angler stays 1 or 2 nights there, their stay is reimbursed!

Saturday night's banquet will be held at the Antioch VFW featuring a dinner of Hot Beef, Chicken, Mashed potatoes, green beans, salad and bread.  The bar adjacent is available for beverage purchase.  We'll present a special recognition award to Frank Walter, whom for many years ran this tournament and put in a lot of work to keep it running.  They'll be a raffle table with fishing lures and equipment, so bring your wallets and help support the Illinois musky fishery!  We'll be conducting a food drive for the Open Arms Mission of Antioch.  For every can you donate, you'll get a ticket for a chance at the door prize.

Sunday we will fish from 7-2PM, and present awards outside the Thirsty Turtle, probably between 2:30-3:00PM

Payout pool based on 40 (two angler)boats is $4000, and we payout to 4-5 places depending on number of entrants.

You can sign up using Paypal at: http://illmuskie.com/registraion.shtml
or you can come Friday night and pay then.

This is a press release, too. Send it to us and we'll place it where it belongs, add images, and we'll publish those too.

Look at these:

Model your release after these, and we will publish and forward them to our media partners as well.

Thanks!
