On our way up to Cass Lake, my co-pilot has expressed interest in stopping at a world-class muskie shop to spend his hard-earned dough. He mentioned Rollie & Helen's, but from the map it looks like Minoqua Wis. will be way out of the way. We'll be coming up thru Madison to near the Mpls. airport. Any good shops in the Twin Cities (or on the way there) that may be open on a Sunday afternoon? thanks in advance, m[]

Come up thru Milwukee, and stop at Smokey's Musky Shop on Pewaukee Lake. Just 20 minutes west of Milwaukee, just a little north of I-94.

John has a great shop, almost completely dedicated to Musky fishing.

Its worth it to lay over a day just to go to thornes and you could spend sunday doing numerous fun things in the cities,,Mall Of America,,and dont forget we have alot of metro muske lakes that have excelent populations,,Reeds is the place to hit if you cant do thornes

I suppose we can find a way to leave a day earlier. Let me check with my cousin and see if we can stay at her place. I was planning on working until 11 on the 20th, so we could leave at noon and drive until our butts ache. Something to consider. No doubt about it, MF ROCKS! mm[]

Mike/Tomyv

if your muskies inc members dont forget to bring your cards thorne bros gives 10% off to MI members on baits,,adds up because when you get in there you wont be able to control yourself,,,also remember that thornes closes at 5pm on sat leave yourself at least 1 1/2 hour for shoping

Tom! An extra day fishing on metro lakes with these two fine gentlemen would be well-worth scheduling. I'll e-mail ya soon. Wore out this morning, had two bats flying around the house last night. later, m[::)]
