Hot spots can be found by fishing. Get on the water, put your time in and learn the art of what we do... Experience is what makes you a better fisherman, because with that you'll learn that what's working today may not work tomorrow and where their biting one day may be different the next for a number of reasons. . . Learning those reasons is part of the art of musky fishing. Good luck to you!

Join the Wednesday night league that fishes Pewaukee and Okauchee, your sure to see some fish. There's La belle and Oconomowoc for a couple of others to learn. Learn to fish for the silver fish of the big pond when the water warms to a boil, you allowed to eat them.

Just watch for the details and show up at the bar for the lake that we are fishing.

Here's a good source of information on lakes:

http://dnr.wi.gov/fish/musky/muskywaters_countylist.html

As for where to fish on those lakes:

Fish on the chain fish can be found anywhere as weed surround the entire lake. And many times if you see a big fish in a spot, you will probably never see that fish in the same spot next month. Its seems that they move quite often. While some spots do hold fish and some are better than others at times it may be a certain condition that you need to see or catch them. . Just get out and fish - that's the beauty of it.

The Madison lakes are a great set of lakes and are pretty easy to learn. They have plenty of weeds and you can fish on the outside and the inside of them. I like firetiger and crappie as far as colors but many others work also. Way to many spots to list but the are not hard to find either.

I was also out on Waubesa on the 5th, what a wind! But it still was a good day for us.
The best thing you can do is put some time on the water and the fish will come.
Good luck
