Location: Gananoque Ontario | Does anyone know if parts of Georgian Bay are chipped like the Moon River, Honey Harbor, or Port Severn? I can't find them on the list on the Navionics website.

Location: Pickering, ON | There are portions that are charted fully, portions that are not, and portions that are partially charted (some gaps).
I could double check the areas you mentioned on my unit tonight. Where you will find issues, for example, is that while Port Severn/Severn sound are charted, they may not be 100% done. If you look at some of the maps here (these ones are farther up than the ones you mentioned) http://www.georgianbayfishing.com/georgian-bay-map.html
you can see some of the gaps I'm talking about.
This one would be a prime example where an area is charted (and would also be on the chip), but not 100% http://www.georgianbayfishing.com/Outer_Fox_Islands_50.html
The chip data is derived from the same maps.

Location: Ontario | Every area mentioned has virtually no gaps. I'm guessing that you're up a couple times a season and some of the outer lying and trickier areas might not be on the day to day menu. I fish all three of those area with a very old graph and corespondingly old chip, no surprises. The paper charts for these areas are excellent too. Using them along with a decent plotter and some common sense you will be fine. You're not going to have many days where you're running out of your map's capability, imo.
The age of your unit and the chip it runs will impact the level of detail you can get. 'Great Lakes East' is a good place to look. Navico are also pros with customer service and have a Toll Free #. You can get help on specific questions on the spot. Good Luck. 1-800-661-3983.
