| I am looking for some input comparing Masterbraid vs. Suffix 100lb line on a trinidad. I currently am using 100lb Masterbraid and it is OK. I am going to re-spool one and wanted to know how the two lines compare? Any other recommendation or info would be appreciated. |

Location: MN | I did the same thing your thinking about and couldent be happier with sufix. It seams to take on a little less water (not that masterbraid holds a lot of water) either way there both great lines. |

Location: Pelican Rapids, MN | The Key to line for the Trinidad is finding one that keeps it's round shape. Also, the line with greater diameter will also stack better on the reel. Remember, Shimano didn't design or build these reels with freshwater fishing or super lines in mind. They are designed for mono. So like I said a nice round braid that holds it's shape will work best. I have been using Tuf-Line Plus -100# White offshore braid. Works awesome! |

Location: brooklyn park mn | i would have to lean against suffix. had to many problems with it on my trinidad. went over to tuff line plus and so much better in my opinion. everyone had reccomended sufffix but not sold on it. |

| Jerry & MuskyJim - when you are recommending the Tuffline Plus 100#, is that based on the Trinidad 14 or the 16N? Thanks! |
