Message Subject: lake X

this may be a stupid question, probably .. but what is lake X? Is that a lake of which you don't wish to mention the name?

I also saw one of bob mehsikomer's tapes called anatomy of a musky lake and he referred to lake X as being a classic imaginary lake. He explained spots using a map of this imaginary lake?

Yes. Lake "X" is typically the name you give your favorite lake which you don't want the world to know about. Funny thing, there are so few lakes in most areas that are productive, everybody really already knows your lake "x". There is only one Lake "x" in the state of Indiana however. LOL

Lunchie: That may be true but lake "Y" should not be overlooked
