What size wire should I run? I have heard 6 or 8 gauge. It is a 16ft boat and I'm running the wire the full length. Should I use tinned wire?

Thanks

IF your running the wire the full length of the boat you want to use 6 gauge.

All else being equal bigger is better (#6). Tinned wire oxidizes slower so it won't hurt. For me it would depend on cost.
