Posts: 32958 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | MuskieFIRST will be introducing a new feature during the Minnesota Muskie Expo, MuskieFIRST Interactive. Post your question on this thread posting your first and last name and question. MuskieFIRST will select one question at the show, and one per week after the show, and shoot video/MuskieFIRST radio interviews with experts qualified to answer your question. The expert we select to aswer each post will answer you personally, so don't forget to post your first and last name. Monthly and yearly prizes from our sponsors will also be featured for selected contributions. Begin your 'question' post as follows: Your First and Last Name Question That's it! We will select one question from this afternoon, and shoot an interview with one of the experts on the subject here at the show Saturday morning. Post your questions on this Thread...anything from how to tie a particular knot, to reel and rod questions, to anything at all Muskie. Keep it real, and your questions now and into the future will be considered for prizes valued up to $500.00. Questions?

| Matt Ahrenholtz Question for MN guides. How do you go about finding fish on new water? Some things to consider: season, baitfish in that lake, weather, pressure, baits used, etc. | |||

Posts: 1 | Gerry Mahowald I have a friend that says to always start your figure 8 to the left which would make the fish turn right. He says that muskies are way more likely to strike when turning right. Is there any truth to this? Is there any rule of thumb for this?

Posts: 267 Location: Lake City,Pa. | Matt Maher and Judy Bowen, My ? is, can there be to much bait fish to trigger a Musky to strike? Example: We fish here in Erie in the bay and troll the main channel out into the lake and we will come across massive bait fish schools sometimes 50 yards long from top to bottom, how would you fish it?
