| Please see the muskie shops in the twin cities area post. This got me started after the arguing that has been going on with the muskiefirst is for profit post. How about the guys who run this sight set it up that us lowly easterners can affordably go to minnesota, and offer to fish with us a day earlier and show us around.
Jason, Zach, Steve, Cady, I hope your all getting rich.
Although I have yet to see anyone in the muskie business do this. |

| Tom! Didn't you know? Zach and Steve each get $10 for each muskie we all catch and report on their site, and they stiff poor Jason by only giving him a $2 cut. Yeah, it's the money! Sure it is, what other explanation could there be? Jeez, I'm not sorry I missed the post you mentioned, I just might have gone off. Well, farther off. And I thought I was wacked!
Now, before you go agreeing to let Happy and Shady take us on a lake, find out how much they'll charge us and what cut Outdoor First gets! hee hee hee.
Seriously, I went to Minnesota last year with the family. I posted a few things on another board about wanting to get a muskie, and I had several offers from some really good people. One took me to Sugar lake, the other took me up to Mille Lacs. They showed me their spots, even gave me a few baits. There seems to be a fraternity among muskie fisher-people that you don't find in other sports. I think it is wonderful and I'm both proud and humbled to be a small part of it. best wishes for big fishes, m[] |

| Mikie, if we leave Saturday morning, That would put us in Minneapolis during the day. Then we fish on sunday, and head to BOTL Monday morning. That would still give us an evening to hang with your family on Saturday.
How's that sound?
Am I correct in my thinking that the outing doesn't start until monday?
And one more thing, what are "the twin cities?" |

| "Twin Cities" - Minneapolis / St. Paul, Mn.
It is a two day drive from my house to Minneapolis. Last year, we left home around 7 am EDT and got about as far as Madison, Wis. around dinner time. I did most of the driving since my wifemate does not like to drive with a boat following the car. Seems we left the Madison area the next morning and were rounding the outer belt at Minneapolis around 1 or 2. We might make a bit better time with just the two of us, but I don't plan on doing it all in one day. Besides, its not the last minute yet! It sure would be cool to fish a metro lake or two with Hooker and Cady on Sunday, but we'd best plan on rolling into town Saturday in time to get you to the store. My relatives are high on my priority list to see, I can do that while you go shopping. m |
