Location: Hayward, WI | Joe Cal has a 42" 101 pound motor for sale just a few threads down on this forum. http://muskie.outdoorsfirst.com/board/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=56... If you want the fastest trolling motor powered Tuffy on the lake, this motor would probably be the one to get!

Location: Tinley Park. Fish Cen IL. Bass & Vilas Cty.Muskie | I was Making a Funny when I said I wanted the fast Tuffy on the Lake. I had a Minn Kota edge. The trolling motor repairman suggested I get a maxxum or the new model ? maybe a Fortex ? He said if I was to use my trolling Motor most the day,I needed a 24v. I fish some trolling motor only Lakes- so I need to upgrade from a 12V TO 24V. 36v is a big ?? That would mean much more weight in my Tuffy(storage?). If there was Tournaments on the Trolling Motor only Lakes-I would definitely get a 36v for the BIG Takeoff... Thanks for the reply. I am going to give him a call now. |
