Hey guys whats the difference between the salty models rail mount and the standard series rail mount?Is the standard rail mount strong enough? Askin because i found a pretty good deal on the standard series.

Which Series Do I Need ?
Standard


For light to moderate fishing:

* for fish specicies up to 25 lbs
* for up to 30 lbs Test Line

Holds up to 1-1/8" diameter rod including fly rods

Salty


For moderate to heavy fishing:

* for fish specicies up to 85 lbs
* for up to 100 lbs Test Line

Holds up to 1-3/8" diameter rod including fly rods

Ryan hit it on the head. The Salty is a heavy duty model. I run these for trolling and live bait never had a problem. Best rod holder out there IMO.
